The Today page

Everything that needs you, on one page

Today is the page an owner or manager opens to see what needs them. It starts with what only you can do, then shows who’s late, what arrived and what’s coming up. Each part has its own page when you want the detail.

What’s on it

Seven parts, in the order you need them

The page opens on the decisions only you can make, so a busy morning starts with your approvals rather than a search. Every part also has its own page with the full list, and every action is written to the log.

01Needs your approval
Reminders Forenax has drafted in your firm’s words, each with the client, the deadline and the first line. Approve and send, edit, or reject. Nothing goes out until someone at your firm says so.
02Needs a person
Client questions, unclear replies and emails that couldn’t be matched to a client. Mark the records as received, keep chasing, mark the request as not needed, or place a stray email on the right case. None of these gets an automatic answer.
03Escalated
Clients still silent after every reminder, and who at your firm the case is with. Forenax stops chasing these, so a person picks them up.
04Late
Clients past the date with a request still open, how many working days late, and which reminder went last.
05Since Friday
Records received, cases closed and reminders sent since Friday. Nothing to do here; it shows what moved without you chasing it.
06Coming up
Deadlines in the next 14 days that your firm has set up in Forenax, with how many clients each one affects.
07Problems
An email that didn’t send, which you can resend from here. Shown only when there is one.

Today and the Friday email

You open it when there’s a reason to

The Friday email is a snapshot of a page called Today, which you open when the email tells you to. It lists who is late, what they owe and what happens next, so you don’t have to keep a page open all day.

What you won’t see

Built to be read by the person responsible

Today shows what Forenax has done and what it needs from you. A few things are left out on purpose.

  • Anything that says a return was filed, submitted to or accepted by HMRC. That stays with you.
  • Penalty amounts or tax owed.
  • An AI score presented as the answer. A person decides anything unclear.
  • League tables or response times for your staff.
  • “Sent automatically” while approval is switched on.
